How to Verify Your From Email Address in MarTech
Your sender address is part of your brand. When customers see your name in their inbox, they need to trust that the email really came from you. That's why Ajax Union Martech has added a simple security step to MarTech: before you send an email campaign, you'll need to confirm that you own the From address you're using.
This post explains what changed, when the check doesn't apply, and how to verify your address in a few minutes.
Why MarTech Added Email Verification
In the past, MarTech didn't check the From address on email campaigns. In theory, someone could type in an address they didn't own, including one on your domain, and send emails that looked like they came from you. This is called spoofing. It can confuse your customers and hurt your sender reputation, which affects whether your emails land in inboxes or spam folders.
Now, MarTech only lets you send campaigns from addresses that have been verified. Verification takes a few minutes, and once an address is verified you won't need to verify it again.
When You Don't Need to Verify
Some addresses are trusted automatically and skip the one-time code:
Custom domains provided under LC Email. If you send from a custom domain issued through LC Email, your ownership has already been confirmed. Addresses on that domain are trusted.
Your Location admin email. If your From address is the same as the Location admin email saved in your settings, MarTech treats it as verified.
If neither applies, follow the steps below.
How to Verify Your Email While Building a Campaign
Log in at app.ajaxunion.com, open Email Marketing, and start a new campaign.
In the sender email field, type the address you want to use as your From address.
If the address isn't verified yet, a Verify Now button appears next to it. Click it, and MarTech will send a one-time password (OTP) to that address.

Check that inbox, find the 6-digit code, and enter it in the verification window.

After the code is accepted, your address is verified. You can use it as the From address for this campaign and any future ones.
How to Verify Your Email from the Settings Page
You can also verify an address before you start building a campaign:
Go to the settings page in MarTech.
Click Verify an email.
Enter the address you want to verify. MarTech will send a 6-digit code to it.

Enter the code from that inbox to finish.
The process is the same as verifying inside a campaign. It just lets you get the step out of the way early.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is verification required now?
Without it, anyone could put any address in the From field, including addresses on domains they don't control. Verification proves that you own the address, which protects your brand and your sender reputation.
How long is the code valid?
For security, the code expires after a short time. If it expires, click Verify Now again and a new code will be sent.
What if the code doesn't arrive?
Check your spam or junk folder and make sure the address was typed correctly. Also check that your inbox isn't filtering out messages from no-reply senders. If nothing shows up after about a minute, request a new code.
Do I have to verify the same address more than once?
No. Once an address is verified, it stays verified on your account and can be used for any future campaign.
Can I verify more than one From address?
Yes. Repeat the process for each address you want to use. All of your verified addresses will appear in the sender email dropdown the next time you create a campaign.
Does this apply to emails sent from workflows?
The requirement applies to email campaigns. Workflow emails use the sender address set in that workflow. For the same protection on workflow emails, verify that From address as well.
My campaign won't send because the address isn't verified. What should I do?
Open the campaign, click Verify Now next to the From address, enter the code, and send again. To avoid this in the future, verify your addresses ahead of time under Settings → Verify an email.
The Bottom Line
Verifying your From address takes a few minutes and only needs to be done once per address. It keeps your sender identity secure and helps your campaigns reach your customers' inboxes.
